My Philosophy
Perhaps you wonder what your life purpose is. WHY are you here? What are you supposed to do with this life you have been given? You believe you have special gifts (not like x-ray vision or anything like that) that can make a difference to someone, but you don't know how or where to begin to tap into those gifts. You know your life would be so much more meaningful if only you could figure IT out!Do you ever feel that you KNOW you should be doing something differently, but you just can't seem to follow through long-term?
You may be overweight. You've tried lots of diets, lost (and gained) hundreds of pounds, but still stuff yourself with unhealthy food while your treadmill becomes a hanging rack for your ironing? These are just a few examples of reason why people hire a life coach to help them make positive, permanent changes in their lives. The truth is self-discovery and change is hard, even under the best of circumstances. Trying to go it alone is far from the best of circumstances. You need a clear vision of what you want-and why you want it. You need to think through the steps necessary to obtain it. You need ongoing support through the inevitable ups and downs of growth and change. You need to be held accountable for both the successes and the failures you create on your journey. Finally, you need to know you are not alone on your journey; rather, you have someone who is genuinely invested in your success. That 'someone', my friend, is your life coach.
You may be engaging in continued conflict with your ex-spouse to the detriment of your children (and your own life, I might add). You know you should stop fighting, but he (or she) makes you yell, call him (or her) names, and bad-mouth him (or her). After all, if he (she) wasn't such a jerk, you would be fine!
You may feel stuck in a dead-end job. You complain all the time to family and friends about your lousy boss, the hours, the pay, the work, the co-workers, the commute, the cubicle, and the parking. Did I say the pay? Every Monday morning you dread getting out of bed because you know the 40 hour torture chamber is about to take hold of your life - again. But you stay. You stay and you stay and you stay.

it is generally the by-product of other activities."
